Psychedelic Somatic Journeys
Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP) is a body-based approach to trauma healing and integration that weaves together the intelligence of the nervous system with the deep, transformative potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, PSIP invites you to go beyond the mind—into the felt experience of the body—where so much of our wounding, memory, and resilience lives.
In a PSIP session, you are guided through a present-moment, relational experience- often with the support of legally prescribed expressive medicines such as cannabis or ketamine. But medicine isn’t required. Whether you’re exploring your body’s intelligence with breath, movement, or sound, the journey meets you where you are.

Why Somatic + Psychedelic?
Many of us carry trauma not just in our minds—but in our bodies.
In our breath.
In our postures.
In the tension we’ve learned to live with.
When we bring psychedelic states into a safe, somatic container, we open a powerful doorway to what’s been held, hidden, or frozen- and begin to release it with care, presence, and deep trust.
PSIP allows:
-
Emotional release without reliving the story
-
Nervous system regulation at the root
-
Integration of psychedelic experiences in a grounded, embodied way
-
Reconnection with parts of self that were once shut down

What Might You Experience?
-
Shaking, trembling, or movement as the body discharges stuck energy
-
Vocal expression (like sighing, crying, or even screaming)
-
Spontaneous imagery, memory, or emotional surfacing
-
A profound sense of spaciousness and clarity afterward
-
The return of your full emotional range—including joy, grief, anger, and love
This process is not about forcing catharsis- it’s about trusting your system’s pace, honoring your boundaries, and allowing truth to rise organically.

Is PSIP Right For You?
PSIP may support you if you:
-
Feel stuck in traditional therapy or overanalyzing
-
Are integrating past psychedelic experiences
-
Are seeking body-based healing for trauma, anxiety, or chronic stress
-
Crave deeper connection to your body, intuition, and emotional truth

What Happens in a Session?
Each session is unique. You’ll be lying down, eyes closed, and guided to track your breath, sensations, and emotions as they arise. Sessions are typically 2 hours and may include:
-
Pre-session grounding, education, and intention setting
-
Guided somatic exploration
-
Relational interaction to gently surface and process unresolved material
-
Post-session integration
-
Medicine is always optional. You are the guide- I simply help you listen more deeply.
We’re not healing the story- we’re healing the physiology.
The story is what the mind does to make sense of the body’s state.
